Quality Control

  • Laboratory animals under our care are scheduled for quality measurement. Moreover, we have tested our products before deliver to ensure that customers receive the best quality products.

Health Monitoring

  • The quality control program of NLAC-MU performs a complete investigation of the health status of its laboratory animals to assure the health quality of NLAC-MU animals. We promptly provide a current health monitoring report (see below) of our animals 4 times a year.

  • The health monitoring system  is divided into two categories :

Pathology

Necropsy, Histology, Blood Chemistry

Microbes

Virus, Bacteria, Fungi, Parasite

Environmental Monitoring

  • Husbandry environment and equipment from Maximum Barrier and Low Barrier / Strict hygienic conventional (SH conventional) are regularly monitored to prevent contamination.
  • The environmental monitoring system is divided into three categories :

Physical

Temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Ambient Light

Chemistry

Quality of air, food, water, bedding i.e. food nutrition, amount of ammonia gas and carbon dioxide release

Microbiology

Microbial testing in air and materials
