NLAC, Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, and Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University initiated an idea of reusing water hyacinth from Khlong Thawi Watthana for beddings. Prior to use, plants must be completely dried. Generally plants are placed in the designated area in which entirely exposed to sunlight. However during rainy seasons, there are insufficient area. Therefore, an transparent dome was set up. This dome prevents water hyacinth from moisture while dehydrating under the sun.
